I love this Bob! Thank you.

As I’ve gotten older (and wiser and nicer😂!) I’ve come to look at life as something that happens for us not to us. I look at every experience now, both good and bad and all the colors in between, as something to learn from and grow from. Not easy to always remember but always true (for me😂!).

Hi Marilise, that's a wonderful philosophy to live by. Sure makes life easier to endure, if you can remember to keep that mindset, as you say. I expect you'll love my new article (today) on Five Lessons I Learned about Life By Investigating the Afterlife. The first lesson addresses this exact subject. Thank you for writing me. I love the connection and hearing about other people's lives and philosophies that have helped them.

I like this. It hones in on the idea of how we view our experiences - I appreciate you broadening the view and giving it perspective.

You're very kind, Bruce. I find that when I write out a story from my life, the lesson appears as I'm writing it. It shows me that the events in our lives are teaching us along the way, if we only take the time to pay attention. Thank you.
