Thank you. Melissa's photo is beautiful. I loved the water experiment. I think similar experiments have happened with plants. Two plants are placed near each other. One is given lots of touch, and loving speech. The second is ignored and mean things are said to the plant. The one that thrives is the one that is loved.
Hi Tina, Yes, I remember that too. It was so cool. My memory is that plants also recoiled when a knife or scissors came near them, which ultimately led me to feel bad whenever I cut flowers. I think it helps to have these reminders regarding the power we have to affect change in matter. Be well.
It truly is heavenly. Grew up in Massachusetts, moved here 23 years ago. Best decision we ever made.
Melissa and I did get to Tennessee when we were younger--early 80s. Nashville mostly. Had beef barbecue for the first time at Twitty City. Rode the Wabash Cannonball roller coaster at Opryland. Minnie Pearl was playing at the theater. Always wanted to get back there. No doubt a lot has changed.
👍🏻. For some reason I had you residing in Ohio or PA. Maine….beautiful state. Close to heaven for sure. Never visited. Close, though when our ship made a port visit to Halifax,NS.
You are so insightful Bob!! Many “Thanks” for you and your GIFT in my life!!
Maybe it’s because of childhood abuse from my Mom, that I can appreciate the powerful lessons we are taught from abuse!! And also questions from us - when abuse happens in our lives!! Like - were we aware of them when choosing Parents, etc.? It’s an interesting thought as we read from great authors like you, Brian Weiss and many more that have talked of such choices we make when “coming back”!
Hello once again Bob. Even tho I don’t always comment, I so enjoy reading all of your stories and “Thank You” for each one.
I do have a comment or question.
Could it be Bob, that Your Third Nudge came from your Former Professor at St. A’s who also was an Attorney and hired you when you turned in the invoice for your work and did not pay you and stoped taking your phone calls? I tend to believe he was your “Teacher In Disguise” that wanted you to move forward without him. Could it just be??
Hi Rosanne, whether you comment or not, I always appreciate you being there. Regarding your question, I do view the less than moral or less than ethical characters in our lives, even the mean people, as pinball paddles in our lives. Their negative influence, even when done selfishly, paddles us (the pinball) in a new trajectory.
I don't think the professor was consciously trying to teach me a helpful lesson like a wise mentor might do. He knew he could rip me off without any consequences give his power and position. That said, I chose to mention him in the story because I DO believe his act of not paying his debt had an effect on me when my friend's new stepfather offered to introduce me to his P.I. It was the last straw in a series of events that had me questioning my career choice. So when Attorney Wallace hooked me up with Karl, the timing was divine, meaning I give credit to my spirit guides for that nudge. Timing is everything as they say. I like that you noticed it, because many of the nudges in our lives can be quite subtle. Thanks for your comments and insightful question.
Bob, thanks for another well written and lovely story. I always find your writing to be very clear and concise and you tell a story so beautifully. My life certainly has taken a very zigzag trajectory starting out as a graphic designer decades ago. I am currently retired from design and am a practicing psychic medium. I am in the process of publishing a book on dream interpretation. I’m sure I have had dozens of nudges and hints along the way from my guides and my higher self. You reminded me of a favorite 70s detective show, Kolchak The Night Stalker starring Darrin McGavin. A detective dealing with supernatural forces! Worth a look.
Hi Patty, imagine if someone had told you decades ago that you'd be a medium one day. I know I would have laughed as a young private eye if someone had predicted I'd be teaching about the afterlife one day. I used to love The Night Stalker, reporter who investigated otherworldly mysteries. I watched an episode last year, not sure where I found it, maybe YouTube. It was slower than I remembered (wasn't everything?), but I really enjoyed the story they told. He was a fun character. Thanks for sharing with me.
Great article! I love the music and especially the beautiful photography. Another wonderful message. Thank you.
You're welcome, Francine. I appreciate your generously kind comments.

Bob, very interesting. Never been to a medium event, but I want to in the near future. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Eugene, it’s really interesting to witness. Hope you are able to have the experience one day.
