Bob, yes I'll try it. Let you know if I hit pay dirt. Basenji dogs have a low key sound. Mostly though, they remain quiet. They require much caring. Don't care for closed confines. They try to escape. But, ultimately we love them.

Bob..yessir! Sounded like a Paul Selig session . At first, I thought it was a Guide. The guide turned out to be your uncle. I’ll have to give it a try.

Yeah, Gene, I think it was my uncle working with my guides. He was there to help me believe it was real. You should definitely try it.

PS, I watched a video on the sound some Basenji's make. So cool. Seem like really cool dogs.

Bob, thank you for this. When you originally posted on Spirit Writing, it really resonated with me. I had learned a similar approach (but a bit more complex) many years ago, and I fully appreciated your choice of "spirit writing" as accurate and more accessible. At that time, too, I had wondered what it looked like for you - and now, to my pleasant surprise, you did share. Both the gentle wisdom, and the loving softness, mirror what I have experienced with the practice. Your share has affirmed for me what I have received in my spirit writing more than I could have ever expected.

I am grateful that you followed up with a new post on this topic; it's inspiring me to return to this as part of my healing and growing journey.

Thanks Bruce. Interestingly, my ongoing connection with this communication led to ever-more loving and gentle interactions from them. As mentioned, it was evident to me that my uncle helped me to learn how to do it, but that soon changed to working with a group. It's possible my uncle was always part of the group at the beginning. Some details don't need to be known. Nowadays, it feels like connecting with old friends, which allows them to be frank with me--"No, Bob, we can't tell you what to do, but we can give you guidance on how to make that decision yourself." Thanks to your comment, I'm glad I followed up with it as well. I wondered if people might think, Enough with the spirit writing, Bob! Even one person not feeling that way is fulfilling. Thank you, Bruce!

Fantastic article and great advice on manifesting. I am working on understanding the energy of manifesting at this point in my life. So, wonderful timing for me on this one.

I sure could feel the stress of you asking Sally for more info! Oh, how I was sitting here at my desk rubbing my forehead every time Sally got accurate info and you pushed for those tattoos. LOL.

You're right...we all can manifest in our lives. The info you received on seeing the destination seems to be key. Don't worry about the "hows" that will get you there. I have manifested destinations in my life and I'm working on manifesting bigger destinations. There seem to be several ways to focus on manifesting but the one that works for me is letting go. Now, I have found that I get frustrated and this leads me to telling myself the truth of my desired location. Imagine it...running into road block after road block and then frustratingly blurting out...OK! OK! This is what I see and Nothing Less! Get specific and don't let fear keep you from those very important specific details. The universe wants to know the specifics. And then, after the release of all that energy, I just let it go. I give up...I give up dwelling on it and go about my life. Then, one day something happens. Something you didn't expect but there it is and you now find yourself on the way to your destination.

So true, Christian. It's against the human condition to let go of trying to control the outcome. We grow up learning the power of will power; it's a challenge to place our order with a simple visualization and let some unseen intelligence figure out how it's going to happen. I appreciate you sharing your experiences with this process. We all need the occasional reminder to refocus our thinking for abundance. I'm glad this served in that way for you. Always a pleasure, my friend.

This article has gotten my curiosity up AGAIN. Years ago (my twenties) I did automatic writing which actually started with a ouija board. A friend and I started this at work on lunch break! We met a spirit named Morey who had died in Vietnam and he was gay and had problems with that during his life. He went on to tell us about a woman at work who just found out she was pregnant, that she was actually having twins, 2 boys. That came to pass! That my sister in law, who had wedding plans set, hall and all, was going to marry sooner than that. Sure enough, she got pregnant and had to move the date up. My friend’s sister in law, mother of 2 girls, was pregnant, Morey said she was having another girl and it would be February 14….and that all came true! There were other things as well, but I haven’t done automatic writing in years. Not on a typewriter but by handwriting! Also Morey said many things about spirituality where, as you said, I could be writing away while having a conversation and the writings were totally different than the discussion I was having! Some people scared me back then into thinking it was evil but I am thinking of trying it again since my parents are gone and so is my husband and a number of friends. Your writings are so interesting and have brought me back to my real self! Thank you!

Hi Jeanne, you have the true gift for automatic writing, which I don't have. That's amazing. The details Morey gave you... Wow! I'm glad this has inspired you to bring it back into your life. You know, a lot of people over the years have expressed their fears about so many of these things. The worst one I've seen is always related to Ouija boards. I blame movies and novels for that. These are just other methods for spirit communication. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I'm so glad you're motivated to get back to it. I'm guessing it will be like reuniting with an old friend. Please keep me updated.
