I have only had one dream where my father showed up. I am sorry to say it was a sad dream as my father acted like he didn't know me. He ignored me as if I wasn't there. I loved my father very much and we had a good relationship. He died by suicide when I was 29 and I will be 74 this year. This dream made me very sad. For a long time I thought I did something that made him sad and that He did what he did but them I had a reading where my Dad came through and was holding a mega phone and said he is fine and it was his decision and it had nothing to do with any of his loved ones. I do continue to ask him to visit me.

Hi Gail, dreams are complicated. I don't know enough about your dream, but sometimes our dreams are simply our minds processing life. I've never personally heard of a dream visitation where the loved one in spirit ignored the dreamer. Usually these are very vivid dreams that you remember clearly 30 years later and the person in spirit is quite loving and comforting--more like the message you got in the reading. If it was a visitation dream, perhaps there was some benefit to the experience you had that eludes me. I hope so, and I hope he visits you in a way that is more pleasant next time, letting you know he's sorry and that he loves you. PS, if you haven't read it, you might be interested on my article about suicide: https://bobolsonconnect.com/p/the-big-question-about-suicide -- thanks for sharing.

Thank you for that article. I enjoyed it. I don’t have evidence of my prayer’s being heard. But i did have a dream visitation from my mom. I’m sure it was her, even though she never said a word. I just remember i was asleep and when i woke , i clearly remember (& to this day it is very clear and memorable) i saw my mothers face and my fist thought was Oh, mom , your ok! And immediately, i recalled she had just passed, but she must have communicated to me something about a family member. My sister was living in the same apartment as my mom, and hadn’t done a thing about getting a place of her own. She needed my help and I believe my mom was there to get me to realize that. That was my feeling when i woke the next morning. (a very strong one). Ill never forget it. I did help my sister. And we became much closer for it.

Hi Francine, that's clearly a dream visit from your mom. What a blessing, and I love how it brought you and your sister closer. What's really cool is that you had a knowing as opposed to a verbal communication from your mother, basically telepathic communication. You knew she was okay and knew she wanted you to connect with your sister. It's a lovely example of a dream visitation and I really appreciate that you shared it.
