Well, there went my entire Saturday morning…in the best way! Thank you, Bob! I had missed a couple of Soul Sharing installments so I had a lot to catch up on. I’ve already forwarded Bill Keaggy’s Youtube video about grocery lists—finding attention and mindfulness—to several people since watching it this morning. I suddenly have an idea for a poster I’d like to pull together from this. I, along with my Purity Coffee (I paid attention in May!) have been sitting and scheming and dreaming up new art.

Many of your tips, treasures and podcasts resonated with me, but probably nearest to my heart at the moment are the Yamada books and also The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. I didn’t think Grandma was a title I would have in this life, but our 40-year-old daughter is suddenly going to make us grandparents and we’re ecstatic about this unexpected turn of events. With happily watering eyes, I’ve just added the books to my Amazon shopping cart and I look forward to the movie. I’m grateful for these suggestions.

Thank you for sharing Melissa’s stunning Alaska photo! It really does contain everything.

In hindsight, I realize that sending the Youtube video to friends was nice, but that sending a link to your site was even nicer! So I have rectified that situation. Everybody needs more soul sharing! :) Cheers!

Well, I must say, Mary, that your comments always lift my spirits, so you are spreading love and cheer in many ways and in many directions. I laughed out loud at, "Well, there went my entire Saturday morning!" We've all been there. I agree that Bill Keaggy's teaching inspires in ways he probably never imagined. And I'm pleased to know you're drinking a healthier coffee. Most of all, those books and that movie are some of my most treasured, and what a precious gift for your upcoming grandchild. Congratulations! The question then is, what is your grandchild going to call you? There are so many options, and I love to hear what people choose. Shine on Mary.

Thanks for the question, Bob! My daughter asked me the same thing shortly after their announcement. I didn’t ponder long. I chose Grammy because I assume there will be an award in it someday for me! :D
