I absolutely had to respond to this aura article. I have, for years, felt that “energy” in a room made all the difference on how things go but I now realize it is caused by the people’s auras! When I worked in a hospital laboratory years ago, my boss was always as I remember “negative” about everything. Walk in the room you could actually FEEL the negativity! So I would walk in, all friendly, joking with the others in the room and feel that negativity lifting! However I now am thinking it was caused by the auras of the people! Who knew that? I just thought it was negativity as opposed to positivity, but it seems to be a bit more involved than that! Thank you for opening this up for me! Just love your insight into things!!
You're welcome, Jeanne. I, too, love the little epiphanies in life that suddenly fill in the pieces of a puzzle. I'm glad this article did that for you. That's how I felt after seeing the aura meter demonstration.
Hi Maureen, I applaud that you're willing to give these subjects a look--even a second look. You and I have discussed skepticism, but your open-mindedness is admirable. I find that learning new things keeps my brain sharp and me from getting bored with life. I think you're the same. Yes, I have followed up as suggested, and all tests indicate a healthy man. I've got some changes that I've already made, so it's all good. Thanks for caring. Warmest wishes to you and Jerry.
I can relate to everything you said. I use a pendulum to measure auras and chakras. I find that the predominant vibrations tend to entrain surrounding vibrations that are less dominant. Because I am very sensitive and empathic, I remind myself to stay centered to my own energy so I don't entrain with lower energies. If I am vibing high, I usually stay in high vibrations. When I conduct energy work on others, this process is even more noticeable.
I'll bet it is more noticeable working with others. That's so cool, Karen. You seem to really know your stuff. Most people wouldn't use the phrases "predominant vibrations" and "entrain surrounding vibrations" unless they had a great understanding of this area. I love it.
Im very intrigued by the aura meter! Am a big believer on auras and energies. The info in your article will be a good reminder for me to think happy thoughts at night when my mind wants to get on that “worry train”. Thanks, Bob
Don't I know the nighttime "stinkin' thinkin'," Patty. It's my most difficult time. What fascinated me the most in the two demonstrations I saw with Trish was how quickly our auras can change simply due to us changing our thoughts. As they say, change your thoughts, change your life. Yes, it's a good reminder for us all. You might want to read (or reread) this article from The Magic Mala that touches upon this subject: https://bobolsonconnect.com/p/the-truth-life-imitating-fiction . Thanks Patty!
Thank you for sharing the article! I have started using my mala again and thanks to you for The Magic Mala book that I bought some years ago. I have started using my mala again to help with being in gratitude, which intern helps the stinking thinking.
Hi Frank. I'll see if I can find mine from years ago to learn what brand it is and get back to you. I've seen them on Amazon. If you go by the photo in the article, you'll at least know what style to get (there are different forms of them). Mine, I believe, had a metal handle (not wood like in the photo), not that I think it matters. Otherwise, I like to read the reviews to help me determine the quality. I'll get back to you after I do some searching.
Hi Bob, thanks for sharing about the aura meter and how one's aura size changes with positive mood and with sad or negative mood, and with holding a crystal. I was intrigued how the aura meter could show energy changes in different parts of body. I've known about auras for over 40 years, but was clueless to the existence of an aura meter.
Thank you, Joan. I've known so many mind-body-spirit practitioners in my 27 years doing this work, and I've never had anyone else mention the aura meter. I know people use different versions of it for dowsing, too, but no one I have met. I do wish more people could see it demonstrated, but I'll admit I have to be really still and steady to experience any success with it myself. Once it starts bouncing up and down, it's out of control. Trish was just so well-practiced with it. She made it look easy. It really was such a gift that she gave me. Be well.
I have always felt that I absorb (like a sponge) the energy and moods of other people so your reference to “Sponge Bob “ amused me.
While I am aware of the progress that I have made in healing and the growth that I’ve experienced since the passing of my husband 2 years ago, there is so much that I am still working through in having to adjust to life without him.
I have been able to experience moments of joy again - finally- but there is still deep grief, uncertainty and loneliness inside. I continue to talk weekly to a therapist so I am still getting help in trying to cope.
My concern is: does the underlying grief that I am still experiencing over power / over shadow my other natural energies that are more positive and uplifting? Are others “feeling” these things even if neither I nor they mention it?
I have been told by others in the past that they feel comfortable around me, relaxed, peaceful, unjudged and cared about.
I am concerned that even with effort on my part to “stash” away the tears and sadness of grief while around others so that they don’t feel uncomfortable that maybe they will still sense what I am feeling inside despite my smiles and laughter.
It bothers me to think that the grief I am still experiencing may keep others at a distance. I certainly feel more alone and isolated, partly because of what seems to me to be the awkwardness and discomfort people feel around a person who has lost a loved one.
Hi Karen, I admire your courage in asking this question. If you're feeling this, many others who read this will be too. Our energy fields hold the energy we are feeling in the same way that our written words convey what we feel. For example, I can feel your energy simply by reading your comment. What I sense from the energy in your writing is exactly what you described: a person who makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, peaceful, unjudged, and cared for. This is what is contained in your aura, and it's what people around you will feel.
Your grief is a personal journey, a challenge that you are facing with courage. You do not project a victim mentality or anger at God and the world due to your loss. Your entire life has been turned upside down, and you are learning how to navigate life in a new way. Anyone willing to do this without completely falling apart is an inspiration to others because we all eventually face immense challenges in life. We need people like you to serve as an example.
Yes, what you said about people in our society not knowing how to be around family members and friends who are dealing with loss is true. I've referred to this in many of my articles. Nothing prepares us for interacting with people dealing with loss. Nowhere do we learn the proper things to say and do around people who are grieving. But that is a challenge for our society. It is their fear and ignorance that keeps them away, not anything that you are projecting in your words, demeanor, or aura.
Rather than worry about your energy field (because I think it's perfect as it is), recognize that people have no idea what to say or how to act around the bereaved, and use that as an opportunity to teach them. Use the courage that you clearly have to reach out to them and discuss the elephant in the room (your loss) head-on. Let them know that while it's nice to have a shoulder to cry on now and then, it's also a blessing to have a friend who will help you to escape your grief for a brief time by sharing a dinner, movie, coffee, or walk with them.
Take it from SpongeBob, Karen. Your energy field is welcoming and inviting. People's discomfort and awkwardness is a societal issue, not anything that's coming from you.
I wanted to add: Thank you, Bob, for taking the time to write your thoughtful, very kind, and encouraging reply. I appreciate it more than you may realize.
I'm happy to be here for you, Karen. And you telling me that I was helpful makes me feel good that I could ease your mind in some way. We help each other in that way.

Thanks. Totally foreign to me. Must read your article again.
Have you checked on that recent TIA - I mean a follow up. Don’t mean to be intrusive but concerned.
Take care. Be well

Yes, it does help with that. So happy to hear you started with your mala practice again, it truly can be a magical way to start off the year.
Can you recommend an aura meter to purchase?
The one I own is called, "The Aurameter" created by Oscar T. Branson. Oscar was joined at some point by Verne Cameron, and I found the Cameron Aurameter at https://www.dowsing.com/shop/ and https://dowsers.org/product/copper-original-cameron-aurameter-with-case/ . There are less expensive versions on Amazon. Hope that helps.

This happens to me a lot…at least a few times a day….like Melissa’s experiences😊😂
