Hi Bob. Thanks for your response. I suspect it took some time to draft! I used to hold similar opinions as you, but then one of my spiritual teachers who I respect, told me not to follow the white light as it is a trap. David Icke's newest book, The Trap, is fascinating and presents some information that led me to contemplate this topic and reach out to you. I know when my time comes, I will call for beings of love to escort me to my highest existence.
Thanks Karen! I too have no doubt that you'll be okay when it's your turn to go home to the higher side of life. One way that can be helpful in your knowing of these subjects is to go beyond the vicarious experiences of reading books and articles, as well as watching documentaries and videos, to actually having personal experiences with past-life regressions, spirit contact through hypnosis, between-lives regressions, readings with different mediums, even having a portrait drawn by a spirit artist, to name but a few possibilities. Personal experiences will teach you far more than the vicarious ones (reaching knowing levels beyond belief), which is why I encourage you to have more if you've already had some, or take your investigation to the next level in this way if you haven't. Something to consider. It's obvious you're interested in these mysteries of life and death, so I wish for you all the insight possible during your time here. My best wishes to you.
Thanks Francine. We are complicated beings with love at our spiritual center. The best way to navigate life is to ask ourselves, "What can I do in this situation that is most loving to myself and everyone affected?" Too often we forget to include ourselves in that equation or, for more self-focused folks, forget to include everyone else. I agree with you that learning about the afterlife teaches us about who we are in the here and now. Thanks!
Hi Bob! I am well read on NDEs and your article is now one of my favorite summaries of NDEs. Outstanding job, as usual. One question for you: do you have an opinion about the latest "warnings" that people should not follow the light since it is artificial and will trap you into reincarnating? Thanks!
Hi Karen, thanks for that kind compliment. As to your question, this is never a concern of mine. As I wrote in the article, communication in the afterlife is what we would describe as telepathic. Even this isn't accurate because it goes so far beyond telepathy (it's really a knowing that is multi-sensory), but it's the easiest way to describe it for humans trying to understand the afterlife. I described this communication as "utterly authentic," which means that there's no possibility for trickery, lying, even hiding the details of what's on our conscious minds.
Said another way, I don't believe we can be fooled, tricked, or trapped in the afterlife, which is one reason why souls choose to come to the physical world and experience a human lifetime--our lives here are filled with the possibility for being fooled, tricked, and trapped (marketing, like TV commercials, are a perfect example). Experiencing a human lifetime is intriguing to souls because we experience situations and circumstances that are not possible in the spiritual dimension. And it is because we humans live with these possibilities from day to day in our existence that we transfer what we know to what we think might also exist in the spiritual dimension (at least, we fear it might happen). But the spiritual dimension is the epitome of transparency, so it's not a possibility. And you will know it in the core of your being once you are home in the atmosphere of love and peace.
I hope this answer is helpful to you in some way. Understanding the afterlife is a process that unfolds, not a single event. Thanks, Karen, for your wonderful question. For more on this question, you might want to re-read my article about hell: https://bobolsonconnect.com/p/the-question-of-hell

I love hearing the stories about NDE’s. Your work helps us all understand so much more about who we really are. I appreciate you and your guests.

Thanks so much for the interview! Wonderful retelling by Marveena. It is also interesting how the NDE stories are so different yet so alike.
Hi Tina! Yes, I love seeing the similarities and differences too. Glad you liked it.
