I have had many connections with loved ones who have passed. The first was when my grand dog passed. I simply said out loud: Dad, Ginger has passed, please let me know when she is with you.

They had a strong connection in life, so I knew she would go to him. He told me she was with him, and I continued to talk out loud and got his answers sort of outside my ear in a feeling more than words out loud. We "talked" for about 30 minutes, until I lost concentration. I immediately called my daughter and told her I had either just talked to Papa or I was going crazy. She asked me about the conversation.

One more. My late husband was a total disbeliever. He didnt believe there is a God, and wasnt sure if he had a soul or not. He "allowed" for my beliefs, but that is it. The day after he passed, I felt him in my kitchen and paused. He said " You are right!" and left. I started laughing and crying at the same time.

I also do automatic writing and I guess you could say I channel messages from many of my loved ones as well as some friends. Their loved ones actually write that they knew they could get thru to me and not their person. Over time, I have come to trust this is really happening, as my dad's writing style differs from my late husbands, differs from what I call my angel group, etc.

Its nice to be able to share this here. I do have some friends who accept this part of me, but not something I share with most, as you say in a recent video.

Hi Pam, These are all wonderful, valid experiences that many people are having, but like you have stated, they don't have many people to share them with who won't think they're odd or unbelievable. If you don't know, I have an a couple articles here at Bob Olson Connect on automatic writing, what I call Spirit Writing. Thanks for sharing your experiences. They will help others to validate similar experiences they have had.

I have read that native Indians have a belief that one's soul can be captured in a photograph (but much to the detriment of the individual); hence, they prefer not to be photographed. Maybe the "soul" is really the holographic energy imprint of people's auras.

That's a great point. I had forgotten about that with indigenous cultures.

I’d love to go to a workshop like this! Getting our brains to trust the messages that come in is really hard. This recent period in history has been so materially focused, I’m not surprised so many of us have forgotten how to use our multitude of other senses. It’s something I’m working on most days now.

I would love to go with you to such a workshop, Phoebe. You are a powerful conduit with a strong spiritual connection, and I've witnessed this in multiple ways. I have no doubt your experience would be more like Craig's (in the story) and less like mine. In my defense, it was early in my journey and I had attended to observe more than participate. I'm sure I'd do better today. Check out the local Spiritualist communities in your area to see what events they're offering. England is filled with them. Perhaps even better, Arthur Findlay College in Stansted is only 4.5 hours away from you. Check out their website: https://www.arthurfindlaycollege.org ♥️

Ooooh thanks for that link! I found out the college have some open days in early May and so I booked a weekend of it, plus an Airbnb in a very charming village close by. This experience will be a game changer, I’m sure! ❤️

I am inspired by you, Phoebe! In the blink of an eye, you're booked to have an amazing experience at Arthur Findlay. Wow! I can't wait to hear about it when you visit.

Very interesting story! I've been to similar workshops and was concerned I might not receive any messages, but I did. My ability to receive was even stronger when I held an object that belonged to the other person. Her deceased daughter and parents were very expressive and I was surprised how tuned in I was. I think intuition is another form of channeling, but of our higher self/God self. I will hear a very direct and commanding voice (neither male nor female) and have learned to listen to what it tells me and to follow directions (most of the time).

I'm so glad you had this experience, Karen. It's both eye-opening and confirming. It's interesting that you did better with the psychometry. How cool that you can pick up an object and pick up information. It might be interesting to visit an antique store. I discovered years ago that I do really well with photographs. I can look at a photo of a stranger and know so much about that person. My theory is that there's a holographic energy imprint of people's auras in photos. So glad to hear that you've learned to trust the voice. I'm sure that whoever (whether individual or a group) is behind the voice is pleased that you acknowledge it, as you say most of the time (that's part of the human challenge).

I have an antique bookcase from the late 1800s that I purchased while visiting an antique store in Seattle many years ago. I "knew" where it came from and the time period. I suspect I owned it in a previous life or knew someone who did. I have to watch myself in antique stores!

Great article and I always tell anyone... that everyone... is Psychic. The most common question I get from clients is "what was your first Psychic experience." I'm sure I had some before my remembered experience but this is the furthest back I can remember. I call it my "Scorpion Story." When I was around 10 years old it was my turn to do the after dinner dishes. So, while my hands were in the soapy water with a scrub brush cleaning a plate I heard a woman's voice. BE CAREFUL THERE'S A SCORPION BEHIND YOU! Now being a kid growing up in Texas scorpions were a big deal and I was the only one in that part of the house. I set the soapy plate back in the sink and slowly turned around. After giving the kitchen a real slow "looking over" I saw no scorpion. At this point I started feeling quite dumb that, for a moment, I believed there could be a scorpion behind me. And suddenly! there it was coming out from underneath the refrigerator! Like the wonderful calm kid that I was... I screamed...screamed out that there was a scorpion in the house. My mother and two sisters came running to see. Everything went tribal at that moment and we dispatched said Scorpion forthwith. Due to all the excitement my mind never went back to the beginning...you know... to ask...who was that woman and why did I hear her. This moment only came back to me after several clients asked me about my earliest Psychic memory. This would not be the only time I would hear this woman's voice but she is, thankfully, the reason for my first remembered Psychic experience.

OMG, Christian, what a great story! I'm intrigued that you heard a woman's voice rather than experience the warning as claircognizance. Considering you recognized the same voice at other times, are you thinking spirit guide, perhaps assisting you with your gift (I guess that's really two questions)? That voice might have saved your life. I also love your writing. "Everything went tribal" and "Dispatched said Scorpion forthwith" made me laugh. Such an engaging writer. Thank you for that.

Hey Bob, I have discovered that this woman is my protector. I have a couple of others on my spiritual team but she's the one who keeps me safe. The last time I heard her voice she saved me from what could have been a horrible motorcycle wreck. You know, the strange thing is, I can remember how her voice felt. I felt her voice on the top right side of my head. Hard to explain but that's where her energy came in I guess.

Thank you so much for the complement on my writing. I definitely do not consider myself good at writing but I do love telling stories. Regardless, I'm glad my writing brought you to laughter.

This is stimulating to me. You "felt" her voice. On the" top right side of your head." There's something to be learned there. Perhaps we can explore that together one day. If you don't mind me adding to my comment on your writing, this is not the first time I noticed this. You have natural talents in both writing and storytelling. Giving us the details of soapy water and scrub brush draws the reader in. Capitalizing the voice's warning emphasizes how you heard it. Your use of punctuation that felt right to you throughout worked brilliantly, as in "I screamed...screamed out..." That repetition adds to the story, yet is not something that can be taught. Even sparing us the gory details by writing "dispatched" helps us know what happened without distracting us with a detail we might not want to view in our minds. For you to not consider yourself a great writer is like Harry Potter not considering himself good at magick. Think again. I see talent in writing, and yours is shouting at me to be noticed.

OH! I love exploring...especially when it comes to the Psychic realm and the paranormal.

Once again, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words about my writing.
